When you meet Nathan Becker you will see many facets to his life. Without giving the story away, he is a fireman, a first responder in Baltimore. His life started well with good parents gone bad. Although they started as God fearing at the beginning, their lives fell apart while Nathan was yet young. During the time of his youth he meets the girl next door who becomes his best friend. She becomes his refuge when the storms come in his life. When his mother abandons he and his father it begins to spiral. His mother is a runaway wife and his father becomes a violent alcoholic, leaving him on his own or taking care of his over indulgent father.
