A Journey Starts at the Beginning

Over a year ago I sat down in a cabin in Tennessee during our vacation, and on that trip to the beautiful mountain cabin I took my family , a laptop and 2 season of show I had not heard of before a month before we left. In the evenings after a day of walking to mother's nature's falls, which were beautiful by the way, and praying I would not be eaten by a bear, we would come back to out little rented sanctuary.
After a very heart bearing talk with my sweetheart of almost twenty three years, I told him of what I had in mind. The answer came as "What ever you want to do." Of course I think that he thought it would go no further. While he, my son and daughter-in-law to be to be sat watching the Reds ballgame I settled in the bedroom and took my T.V. Series  and watched an episode of the television show I fell with during a power outage in Southern Ohio that reached into West Virginia. The Vampire Diaries had been on two seasons and was going into it's third when I discovered Damon Salvatore. So in thinking I wrote in high school for the Arts Festival why not write a series of my own.
I sat down after doing some research and wrote the three chapters of Standing in The Eye of the Storm. Using Characterization of how  characters acted and reacted to each other from my new found object of attention.
Taking some statistics and some real life experiences I have witnessed , I set into the task of writing a story of an abused trauma nurse and the man she felt a strong and loving connection to from their first meeting not knowing his background.
The main characters are likable and true to life of what they have endured to bring them to a place in which they are at that point and time.
The intent is not to just put words on paper, I want to put my audience in the middle of each connection, good or bad. I want them to feel what the characters feel.
Bringing God into the mix and how he took something bad and brought good out of it. I am sure I will be ridiculed for  that, but that's okay. The book was God inspired or it would have made it to the page of three hundred plus page book.
It is written for the purpose of healing and reflecting the love of God and what he and only he, is capable of doing. Stilling The Thunder the sequel to my debut book , I hope to have finished and released by Christmas time or the first of the year.
Here's hoping you will enjoy the story of Carter and Isabella as much as I did writing it.
    God Bless,
     Teresa
