It goes to prove there's always somethin

Just a quote from SNL. It's true enough. If you're are old enough you remember this clip and I loved those scenes. It's just as true in life even though we laughed at those clips. Gilda certainly played her character well. The point is that I now have a novel that is now a year old that has gotten little recognition or so it seems. It was a year old July 3rd. I have a 2nd that is finished and had hoped to have it out by April at the latest this year. As you can see it didn't happen. I hate to say anything bad about a company or anyone for that matter, just make sure that when you pick a publisher that they aren't picking apart your story and trying to make it work for their benefit.
I have felt over the past few months that more or less that I have dealt with censorship. The prior publisher wanted me make the changes in my manuscript to make the activities in the book to a legal age. In that I mean the subject matter was that of an abused child in the foster care system. It dealt with the physical, mental and sexual abuse of a child and was told by that child as an adult. It reflected and honest look at what that kind of treatment to a child does to a child and how most people deal with it. It would have discredited my first book so I chose to go with another publisher and I hope to hear from them soon. Hopefully the books will gain some publicity and they can guide me. I was pretty much turned loose on an industry that I knew nothing about from a company that was supposed to assist me. I am hoping that this company will help me and that both book will become and get what is deserved of the story.
Be looking for the re-release of Standing in the Eye of the Storm and it's sequel Stilling the Thunder. I know that you will enjoy them. For those of you that enjoy a good romance it is a surprise in that it is a spiritual that doesn't feel like a spiritual and it does have a thriller edge to it.
